- Delivers acute psychiatric nursing care on a high-acuity adult inpatient unit within a Magnet-designated academic health system. Promoted from Clinical Nurse I to Clinical Nurse II in June 2022.
- Chairs the RNPH Nursing Knowledge and Innovation (NKI) Committee, facilitating monthly meetings on EHR optimization, AI tool evaluation, technology integration, and professional governance. Also serves as NPH NKI Collaborative Chair for system-level informatics discussions.
- Participates in evaluation and piloting of Epic-based AI tools including Epic Brain, Epic AI Text Assistant, End of Shift Summary AI Draft, Rover, and ambient documentation workflows.
- Completed Epic Brain Super User training; uses CareConnect daily for clinical documentation, care plans, flowsheets, medication administration, and admission assessment.
- Developed standardized EHR documentation templates (dot phrases) for psychiatric admission notes, daily nurse updates, care plans, and behavioral event rationale to improve documentation quality and efficiency.
- Contributed to CareConnect workflow optimization including Behavioral Health Module swim lanes, unit-specific flowsheet requests, and Admission Navigator duplication reduction.
- Led EPFRAT psychiatric fall-risk assessment pilot: designed training materials, educated 33 nurses, collected 58 fall risk assessments across three weeks, and coordinated IRB-approved research expansion planning.
- Mentors new graduate nurses and nursing students through the UCLA Nurse Resident Mentor Program.
- Presented research posters at UCLA Nursing Science and Innovation Conference (2023, 2025) and APNA Annual Conference.
